Shockwave is non-invasive and done in the clinic — but it is not painless. Here is what a typical course looks like.

Target identification

Pulsed treatment

A handheld device delivers controlled pulses to the target area. Most patients feel tapping or deep pressure; intensity is adjusted to tolerance.

Mild aching or tenderness for 24–48 hours is common — similar to a hard workout. This often means the tissue received a strong signal.

How long is each session?

Can I work out after shockwave?

How soon might I notice change?
