Connect with the Experts

Meet the people helping patients feel seen, heard, and guided.

Idaho Regenerative Medicine (IRM) is built around clinical depth, careful listening, and the belief that patients deserve more than isolated answers. This page introduces the experts and team members who hold that standard.

Medical director

Dr. Sara Jo Walton, NMD

Clinical intuition, pattern recognition, lived experience, and regenerative medicine, brought together for patients who know there is more to the story.

Naturopathic regenerative medicine ✦ founder

A doctor shaped by lived experience, clinical pattern recognition, and a different way of listening.

Dr. Sara Jo Walton built IRM for people who know something is wrong even when conventional testing has not explained the full picture. Her work blends naturopathic and functional medicine, regenerative orthopedics, biologics, hormones, metabolic optimization, IV Therapy, ozone, peptides, nervous system work, and advanced assessment into a more integrated clinical lens.

Before becoming a naturopathic medical doctor, Dr. Walton earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and spent years in movement, athletics, personal training, Pilates, snowboarding instruction, and hands-on anatomy learning. That movement background still shapes how she evaluates pain, tissue injury, joint instability, rehabilitation, and the difference between local damage and systemic dysfunction.

Her own health story also shaped the practice. After years of symptoms being minimized or missed, she became the doctor she needed: someone who listens, investigates, educates, and helps patients understand how symptoms may connect across systems.

Nurse

IRM is continuing to build the right clinical support team as the practice grows, with the goal of preserving safety, consistency, and the patient-centered standard of care.

What patients can expect

Expertise should feel human.

Listen

Your story matters.

The pattern often lives in the details: when symptoms started, what changed, what helped, and what stopped working.

Map

Care needs context.

Assessment, testing, imaging, and exam findings are interpreted alongside the person, not apart from them.

Educate

You should understand the why.

IRM aims to help patients feel informed and empowered, not pressured or confused.

Sequence

The order matters.

Regenerative therapies, whole-body support, nervous system work, hormones, and rehabilitation are most useful when the timing makes sense.

Begin

If this feels like the kind of care you have been looking for, start with a conversation.

The Get to Know You Consult helps you share your story, name your priorities, and understand whether IRM may be the right fit for your next step.
